BGC Winnipeg Invitational Basketball Tournament

BGC Winnipeg has hosted the Annual Invitational Basketball Tournament for over 13 years. Thank you to the Johnson Family who funds the tournament and continues to support our core values. With their support, we are able to host community teams at no cost to enter.

There will be 4 teams per division and a 3 game guarantee. Games will follow WMBA Community League Rules. All participants will receive a tournament t-shirt.

No Cost! (A Donation to BGC Winnipeg is kindly accepted)

Age Divisions

Our team will reach out to you directly if you are invited. Once invited teams have registered, all other community teams can register.

For teams registered in the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 WMBA Community League; Age divisions as of 2025 birth year. Team selection will be on a first come, first served basis.

16-17 Boys (2008-2009)
15-17 Girls (2008-2010)
13 Boys (2012)
13-14 Girls (2011-2012)

Registrations open: February 17, 2026

Registrations close: April 1, 2026 (or until spots are filled)

All games follow Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA) rules.

- All games will take place at Paul Albrechtsen Multiplex Gym (located off Holland Boulevard)
