The Board of Directors of BGC Winnipeg is pleased to announce the appointment of Noëlle DePape as President and Chief Executive Officer, beginning in summer 2026. Noëlle brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit and public sectors, along with a deep commitment to children, youth, and community development.

“We are thrilled to welcome Noëlle to BGC Winnipeg,” said Ian Gillies, Incoming Chair of the Board of Directors. “Her passion for youth, strong community relationships, and proven leadership make her an exceptional choice to guide the organization into its next chapter.”

Throughout her career, Noëlle has built strong, trusted relationships with community organizations, government, and private sector partners across Manitoba. Her work has focused on creating opportunities for young people, particularly those facing barriers, and supporting initiatives that promote safe, healthy, and equitable futures.

Currently serving as a strategic advisor in the Premier’s Office, Noëlle has played a key role in advancing initiatives that support children and families across Manitoba. While she brings valuable policy and systems-level experience, her passion lies in working directly with communities.

“I am honored to join BGC Winnipeg and to be part of an organization that plays such a vital role in enhancing the lives of children and youth,” said Noëlle DePape. “Young people inspire me every day and regardless of their life situation, every child deserves a champion. I look forward to collaborating with our board, staff, volunteers, partners and other youth serving organizations to create spaces where children and youth feel supported, empowered, and able to reach their full potential.”

The Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to Ron Brown, who is retiring after 15 years of dedicated leadership as President & CEO. Ron’s passion, vision, and commitment have had a lasting impact on BGC Winnipeg and the thousands of children, youth, and families it serves. His leadership has strengthened the organization and helped shape a brighter future for the community.
